The Latest Sport Utility Accessory - An Electric Scooter

SEBASTOPOL, Calif., June 2, 1999 - In the first promotion of its kind, automotive and electrical vehicle manufacturers are combining to provide California consumers with a unique transportation solution.

This summer new Mercury Mountaineer SUVs will come with a ZAPPY electric scooter inside, made by Northern California's ZAPWORLD.COM (OTC BB:ZAPP). The offer is good through June 30th at Lincoln Mercury dealers in California and Hawaii.

The battery powered ZAPPY is one of the world's most portable electric vehicles, able to fold to the size of a small suitcase. The ZAPPY can be used as stand-alone personal transportation or in conjunction with a car, bus, boat, train, airplane or RV. It travels at bicycle speeds with a single battery charge lasting several miles. The ZAPPY can be recharged at any household outlet with its portable charger or by a cigarette lighter with an optional mobile charger.

"This is a great fit between an automobile and a specialty electric vehicle," said ZAP managing director Gary Starr. "With a ZAPPY in the trunk, Mountaineer owners can now travel literally anywhere, from mountain roads to the inner city. When parking and traffic are a problem, just deploy the ZAPPY and use it around town for short trips, for errands, or simply for fun." ....
